The registrant remains the domain owner. (the email address you ordered the domain with at CIPC will remain the registrant address, we dont take ownership of your domain)

On the first order of a new customer, the current month's hosting is free when you transfer your domain to us.

Once we initiate the domain transfer request, the registrant (domain owner) will receive an email from ZARC (ZA Registry Consortium). The email will contain a link that you must click to approve the transfer. Once this step is completed, the domain will successfully move to our platform.

No, CIPC does not create or provide website files. Their primary function is company registration, not website development or hosting. To get your website online, you or your web designer will need to provide the necessary website files (e.g., HTML, CSS, or CMS-based files).

If you don’t currently have a website, here are some steps you can take: Hire a Web Designer: A professional designer can create a custom website for you. -or- Use a DIY Website Builder: Explore user-friendly website builders like Kopage, SitePad, or tools like Softaculous, which allow you to install popular platforms like WordPress. -or- Upload Your Website Files: Once your website is ready, upload the files to the public_html folder via the hosting panel’s File Manager or an FTP client.
